Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED with two (2) years of accredited education in aviation electronics and two (2) years of relevant work experience; or four (4) years of experience in an avionics or electronic career field.

Guides, supports, and aids the work of technicians executing avionics installations. Constructs wire harnesses, installs, terminates, conducts ring-out, and assists in the functional testing of avionics and electrical systems.
Job Description
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
Provides direction to technicians. Ensures tasks are completed within the designated time frame. Collaborates with and assists other departments to guarantee timely delivery of aircraft.
Installs, modifies, and fabricates wiring and electrical components, fixtures, and related equipment in accordance with blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings.
Trains fellow team members in related work assignments. Utilizes expertise as a skilled specialist to contribute to employee development and techniques. Completes tasks in innovative and effective manners.
Assists Engineering in troubleshooting issues and performs repairs as directed by engineering.
Keeps required logs and records.
Ensures that completed work meets applicable regulatory standards and customer specifications.

Implements the company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations.
Reviews all work, including that of other team members, to ensure a defect-free assembly prior to final inspection.
Additional Functions:
Properly maintains and cares for shop equipment and tools as assigned by the Supervisor.

Coordinates shift changes in the absence of the team leader.
.
Engages in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., YIAW, Kaizen events, etc.)
.
Assists and substitutes for the team coordinator as necessary.
.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements:
Possess a working knowledge of the Gulfstream Policies and Procedures manual, Inspection Procedures manual, and relevant Process Specifications.
Demonstrate the proven ability to transition to new tasks with minimal short-term impact on established goal hours and schedules.
Computer keyboard skills are necessary.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
