IntelyCare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team of nursing professionals. As a CNA with IntelyCare, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of post-acute facilities, providing high-quality care to residents while enjoying a flexible scheduling system that allows you to control your work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to residents in post-acute facilities, including measuring and monitoring vital signs, observing resident conditions, and reporting concerns to the nursing team.
- Serve meals to residents and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, mobility, and toileting.
- Clean and sanitize surfaces, keep residents' rooms clean, and change linens to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Communicate with medical staff, residents, and family members, and serve as a conduit between medical staff and residents.
- Move residents in and out of wheelchairs and beds, and reposition them as needed.
- Offer a compassionate ear to residents and provide much-valued companionship.
Qualifications and Skills
- Current Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Understanding of nursing care procedures and related medical terminology.
- Effective organization skills and the ability to communicate with medical professionals, residents, and family members.
- A high level of attention to detail.
