Printing Press Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Offset Press Assistant to join our team at LTi Printing, Inc.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on state-of-the-art printing equipment and contribute to the production of high-quality prints.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Operator: Collaborate with the lead operator to ensure smooth print runs, setup, and make-ready functions.
• Communicate Effectively: Communicate with supervisors and press leads to verify production schedules and instructions.
• Monitor Print Quality: Evaluate product quality, checking for rule-ups, bleed, copy checks, color, and register.
• Complete QA Documents: Complete quality control procedures and required QA documents.
• Maintain Press Equipment: Assist with press maintenance as required and clean the press and surrounding area.

Requirements

• High School Diploma: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Press Experience: Must have previous press operator/2nd man experience.
• Computer Skills: Must have basic computer skills.
• Math Ability: Must have the ability to perform basic math.
• Communication: Must be able to communicate effectively with other employees and management.

Physical Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the physical ability and stamina to maintain continuous effort throughout their shift, including frequent lifting, standing, stooping, bending, reaching, and twisting. They should also be able to perform manual labor for extended periods, exerting force sufficient to lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
