About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Imaging Technologist to join our team at Mount Carmel Health System. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care and ensure a safe environment for patients undergoing imaging procedures.
  • Perform imaging procedures using MRI, CT, and IR equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
  • Enter charges into the Radiology Information System (RIS) and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Magnetic Resonance Technology Program (MRI) or Radiologic Technology Program (CT, IR, Radiography).
  • Registered as a MR Technologist (ARRT), MR, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technology (ARMRIT) for MRI positions.
  • Registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) for CT, IR, and Radiography positions.
  • Prior experience in MRI, CT, or IR preferred.
  • Effective communication skills and current CPR certification required.
