About the RoleWe are looking for a highly qualified and compassionate physician assistant to provide comprehensive care to patients in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Conduct physical examinations, obtain medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as necessary
- Prescribe medications, recommend therapies, and perform procedures according to approved protocols
- Counsel patients and families regarding medical conditions, treatment options, and health promotion strategies
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant in Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience
- Immediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits
- Tuition reimbursement program
- PTO accrual beginning Day 1
