We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team at Summit Healthcare Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitation care plans to help patients recover from injuries, illnesses, and surgeries.
Key Responsibilities- Perform initial and ongoing physical therapy evaluations to identify impairments, functional limitations, and contributing factors.
- Develop personalized treatment plans to help patients restore function, alleviate pain, and improve mobility.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify musculoskeletal dysfunctions and improve tissue mobility.
- Utilize a variety of interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education, to address impairments and promote overall well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient needs are met and provide coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques and practices through continuing education and professional development.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program, approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Current unrestricted Physical Therapy license for the State of Missouri.
- Two (2) years of Physical Therapy experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to understand instructions furnished in written and oral forms of English.
- Proficiency in the use of basic Microsoft word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Physical fortitude to lift patients with assistance using proper body mechanics.
- Routinely performed in an interior clinic / office environment.
