We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team at VocoVision. As a Virtual Audiologist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional audiological care remotely to patients across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual consultations with patients to assess hearing health and evaluate hearing-related concerns.
• Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, tympanometry, and otoacoustic emissions testing.
• Interpret test results accurately and communicate findings to patients in a clear and compassionate manner.
• Diagnose hearing loss, balance disorders, and other auditory conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and preferences.
• Provide guidance on hearing aid selection, fitting, and adjustment, as well as assistive listening devices and other hearing assistive technologies.
• Offer counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing conservation, communication strategies, and coping mechanisms.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessment findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and communication logs.

Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree (Au.D.) in Audiology from an accredited university.
• Current license to practice Audiology in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in audiology, preferably with experience in telehealth or remote patient care.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and video conferencing software for remote consultations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification from the American Board of Audiology (ABA) or the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Experience working with diverse patient populations, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
• Knowledge of insurance billing and reimbursement processes for audiological services.
