Job Summary

At Prisma Health, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and service. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in our team, working under the direction of a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Patients with Daily Living Activities: Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting, while maintaining patient dignity and comfort.
  • Collect and Document Patient Data: Collect and document patient data, including vital signs, medical history, and treatment plans, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist with Treatments and Procedures: Assist with treatments and procedures, such as administering medications, performing point-of-care testing, and assisting with patient transfers.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Collaborate with the healthcare team, including nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Nursing Assistant Program: Completion of a nursing assistant program is preferred.
  • No Previous Experience Required: No previous experience is required, but a willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
Work Environment

This is a part-time night shift position, working in a medical surgical unit at Baptist Easley Med Campus. As a Nursing Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
