Casino Gaming Institute Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement new menu items and recipes to enhance our culinary offerings
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation
  • Manage and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses to ensure that they are within budget
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and recipes
  • Ensure that all kitchen staff are following proper food safety and handling procedures
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure that all kitchen equipment and facilities are clean and well-maintained
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure that all kitchen staff are properly trained and equipped to handle customer complaints and issues

**Requirements**

  • 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing new menu items and recipes
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and handling procedures, with the ability to ensure that all kitchen staff are following proper procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, staff, and management
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Culinary degree or training
  • Experience working in a casino or gaming environment
  • Knowledge of inventory management and control systems
  • Experience with point of sale (POS) systems and other kitchen equipment
