Schneider Electric presents an exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual to take on the role of Supply Chain Planning Manager.

Location: West Chester, OH

In this pivotal position, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing supplier forecasts and ensuring their precision, managing all relevant data to uphold Quality Processes, and enhancing the upstream supply chain performance. You will also implement the management principles and regulations concerning suppliers at the Red Oak facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate upstream supply flows with suppliers to enhance supply chain performance. Establish and disseminate supplier forecasts while managing logistics terms and conditions.
  • Ensure the accuracy, quality, and consistency of essential supply and inventory management parameters (e.g., Replenishment Lead Time, Quantity, Frequency, Stocking policy).
  • Streamline and optimize component procurement from suppliers by adhering to SPS principles, from the last added value of the supplier to the point of use in the plant.
  • Lead containment, corrective, and preventive measures to address upstream supply chain challenges in the plant using the 8D methodology.
  • Act as the Data Owner for the Supply Chain Management (SCM) domain, managing all data (creation, updates, and deletions) to support Quality Processes across various tools (SAP and other domain/local tools).
Reporting Structure

Supply Chain Manager
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration is required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
  • Proficient in computer usage with advanced knowledge of applications (Access, Excel).
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills in English.
  • Critical thinking abilities are essential.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills with strong decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent relationship-building and collaborative management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
