Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned RN with experience in emergency department leadership to oversee the daily operations of our unit. As a Unit Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment, and promoting a culture of excellence within the team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of RNs and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care
  • Develop and implement unit-based policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and staff satisfaction
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
  • Monitor and analyze unit performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency department setting
  • Experience in leadership or supervisory roles preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
