Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrol and stand at assigned areas to observe and respond to potential security risks and incidents.
  • Screen guests and check bags to ensure overall safety and security.
  • Assist with controlling guest ingress and egress during events and functions.
  • Identify and respond to emergency situations, including CPR, first aid, and other medical emergencies.
  • Enforce hotel policies and procedures, as well as civil law, to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Escort performers and artists in and out of venues and assigned areas.
  • Provide clear communication and instructions to guests and employees via two-way radios and telephones.
  • Attend and participate in shift meetings to receive instructions and information regarding special events and internal property concerns.
Requirements:
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language clearly.
  • Social skills, including the ability to listen and respond to employee or management inquiries and concerns.
  • Ability to perform duties in hot to normal to cold temperature ranges and unfavorable conditions.
  • Physical strength required for the job, consistent with a medium work level.
  • Knowledge of safety and security practices and procedures, including CPR, emergency first aid, and basic emergency fire equipment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to maintain attendance in conformance with standards.
  • Ability to maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
Education Requirements:
  • Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Ability to obtain and renew all government required licenses or certification, including the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Gaming Work Permit, Alcohol Awareness Certificate, and American Red Cross Community First Aid and Safety Certificate.
