Job Summary and Qualifications
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers exceptional, patient-focused care by executing a range of delegated basic patient care services.

In collaboration with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals, the LPN provides tailored, comprehensive care in alignment with established standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct, evidence-based care to patients as directed by the physician or RN.
  • Assist with procedures, monitoring, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Conduct lab and procedural tests within the LPN scope of practice, following competency validation.
  • Accurately document care provided in the patient medical record in a timely manner.
  • Serve as a resource for department staff, students, and volunteers to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential.
  • Graduate of an accredited vocational school.
