Job Title: Electrical Superintendent

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our team at McGraw Kokosing. As an Electrical Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing and supporting crews to install electrical systems for large mission-critical construction projects. Your primary focus will be to implement a safe and productive work environment that successfully completes company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage several Foremen to conduct work safely, productively, and with a focus on quality.
• Interface with on-site electrical crews and electrical project managers to resolve problems, ensure quality of construction, and support overall project schedule.
• Ensure project electrical activities comply with company and contract requirements and support overall construction schedule.
• Provide technical support for electrical construction efforts, including participation in planning and design, interpretation of design, application of construction methods, and resolution of design conflicts.
• Assist with controlling job costs and production budgets.
• Respond to issues quickly, proactively solve problems, and handle multiple tasks.
• Set a culture of 24/7 Safety for your crews.
• Assist the Project Manager in updating the project schedule and activity codes.
• Develop 90-day and 3-week look-ahead schedules for crews.
• Conduct pre-planning and goal setting with crews to assess productivity.
• Oversee costs associated with your work items.
• Coordinate manpower, heavy equipment, tooling, and material needs for crews.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of similar construction field management experience.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management (a plus but not required).
• Technical experience progressing through the ranks as a Journeyman to a Foreman to a Superintendent.
• Previous work with IBEW a plus.
