About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join our team at Gateway Search Associates Inc. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our client's internal controls and risk management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute complex operational, financial, and compliance audits to provide reasonable assurance of control effectiveness or measure compliance.
- Develop and implement audit scopes, audit programs, tests of controls, data analyses, and strategies for the execution of audits.
- Independently identify and evaluate key risks and controls, and comprehensively review staff workpapers.
- Provide assistance and training to other team members, and contribute to the development of audit staff.
- Collaborate with management to identify and address audit findings and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on internal audit and risk management.
- CPA and/or CIA certification highly preferred.
