Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Facility Ambassador to join our team at the YMCA of Superior CA. As a Member Service Rep, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our members, guests, and program participants while maintaining a clean and organized facility.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect with people of diverse backgrounds. The ideal candidate will have previous customer service, sales, or related experience and basic knowledge of computers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to members, guests, and program participants in the branch and on the phone, contributing to member retention.
  • Maintain a clean and organized facility, including regular walk-throughs and addressing any minor cleaning needs.
  • Handle and resolve membership concerns and inform supervisors of unusual situations or unresolved issues.
  • Apply all YMCA policies dealing with member services.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Certifications required within 30 days of hire: CPR/AED and First Aid.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Previous customer service, sales, or related experience.
  • Basic knowledge of computers and software applications.
