Martial Arts Coach

The YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles is a dynamic organization that offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children. As a Martial Arts Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching the fundamentals of martial arts to participants aged 7-13.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach martial arts classes to children aged 7-13
- Oversee paperwork, including roll and sign-in sheets
- Assist with program promotion
Qualifications:
- Age: 18 years or older
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; college education preferred
- Specialized Skills:
- Strong background and minimum 1 year experience teaching martial arts to children
- Programming/curriculum planning
- Experience working with children
- Ability to communicate effectively and relate to youth
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of individuals
- Strong character values, communication skills, emotional maturity
- Current EMSA First Aid, Adult, and Child CPR and AED Certifications (ARC, AHA, and ASHI certifications only)
