We are seeking a seasoned Lead Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the Southwest Region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Expertise in calculating project quantities and engineering cost estimates, developing construction specifications, and collaborating with subconsultants.
  • Leading project design efforts and guiding engineers and designers to ensure successful project execution while focusing on client satisfaction.
  • Utilizing established engineering practices, procedures, and standards to deliver high-quality results.
  • Preparing and refining reports, specifications, plans, construction timelines, and designs for various projects.
  • Collaborating within a team environment and actively participating in business development initiatives and client meetings.
  • Engaging in the continuous development and implementation of team strategies, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Attending relevant team meetings to foster communication and collaboration.
  • Handling detailed engineering tasks, including calculations and standard work activities.
  • Identifying and resolving discrepancies in data and results.
  • Employing analytical skills to assess problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Applying standard techniques to achieve project objectives.
  • Complying with assigned schedules and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
  • Maintaining adherence to quality assurance and control standards as outlined in the company’s quality manual.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in roadway design.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet Department of Transportation (DOT) expectations, timelines, and budgets.
  • Experience with TxDOT is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Proficient in DOT design methodologies, plan preparation, standards, and specifications.
  • Skilled in using MicroStation software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
