Job Summary

Dignity Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Northridge Hospital Medical Center. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders and speech-related difficulties in clients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language abilities
  • Conduct swallowing evaluations and treatment, including videofluoroscopy
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings
  • Implement therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and strategies
  • Monitor and document client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Educate and train clients, families, and caregivers on exercises and techniques for continued progress
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and progress tracking

Qualifications

  • Current CA SLP license
  • Recent, board eligible, graduates will be considered for provisional appointments
  • CFY candidates must apply at conclusion of CFY (required for student supervision)
  • Current CPR/BLS and Fire Safety cards
  • Therapists will apply and obtain CCS paneling once one year equivalent of pediatric experience is obtained
  • Experienced therapists with 1 year equivalent of pediatric experience will apply/obtain CCS paneling within six months of hire

Compensation

$64.72/hour
