The position of 1L Legal Intern will assist the Legal Services team of SCA Health in providing timely and constructive legal advice and support for the surgical facilities and other businesses.
This role involves corporate law, contract law, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, and healthcare laws and regulations. The candidate will perform legal research and writing assignments in support of various Legal Services practice areas.
The selected individual will gain exposure to the responsibilities of serving as an in-house counsel, including assisting with legal matters related to business operations and providing guidance on compliance and regulatory issues.
Candidates must be based in Birmingham, AL or Pasadena, CA, and be a second-year student at an accredited law school.
