Your Responsibilities:
As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you will:

- Conduct precise and timely laboratory analyses, ensuring adherence to proficiency testing protocols.
- Take charge of departmental responsibilities in the absence of supervisory staff.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient outcomes.
- Execute urgent procedures within designated turnaround times.
- Utilize sound judgment and independent reasoning to interpret and correlate patient results, including performing delta checks.
- Monitor pending logs and result logs, addressing any outstanding tasks or communicating with staff as necessary.
- Implement quality control measures in accordance with established protocols and manage critical laboratory specimens and test results.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of an Associate Degree is required.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology is preferred.
- ASCP certification (or equivalent) is preferred, or the ability to secure licensure within the first six months of employment.
