Responsibilities:

* Prepare quarterly and year-end tax provisions
* Provide support for multiple state filings and respond to inquiries from state and local taxing jurisdictions
* Coordinate with the accounting team to provide tax-related documents to external partners for tax return preparation and assist in the review, payment, and filing of federal, state, and local income and franchise tax returns
* Perform tax planning and research activities in connection with business transactions, changing tax rules, and changing business processes
* Manage and review the reporting process of monthly sales and use tax filings, exemption certificates, personal property tax filings, state and local business licenses, etc.
* Assist external firms with compiling transfer pricing documentation for yearly transfer pricing reports
* Ensure the organization is current with changing tax obligations and contact tax agencies to apply for and set up new tax IDs as necessary
* Develop and maintain a global tax calendar to include all tax types, due dates, and opportunities
* Serve as an active and valued partner across all business functions regarding tax matters

Requirements:

* Bachelor\u2019s degree in accounting
* 2+ years of experience in a tax-focused role
* Strong proficiency with Excel, Word, and other general office environment software
* Excellent analytical, reading comprehension, and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred qualifications include a CPA license, experience in state and local taxation, tax provision, and familiarity with partnership taxation and tax research tools.
