Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Fabricator to join our team at Tramec LLC, a leading provider of industrial automation products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and assembling high-quality extruded aluminum frames and guards using advanced tools and equipment. A strong eye for detail, excellent manual dexterity, and effective problem-solving skills are essential for ensuring the highest standard of quality in this role.

This is a full-time opportunity with regular working hours from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm EST, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Select materials and components according to specified requirements.
  • Assemble parts using hand tools and power tools, including torque wrenches, chop saws, and drill presses.
  • Measure, cut, and shape materials to precise dimensions.
  • Fitting and aligning parts to ensure a perfect fit.
  • Testing and troubleshooting assembled products to guarantee proper functioning.
  • Inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace and tools.
  • Following safety procedures and regulations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints/specifications.
  • Knowledge of assembly techniques and processes.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools.
  • Ability to use basic fabrication tools such as jigs, fixtures, drills, and saws.
  • Ability to lift up to 100+ pounds with assistance.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
