About the Role

As a Reliable Equipment Specialist at US Engine Valve, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. This is a direct hire position with benefits and requires overtime.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $26.50 per hour. Additional pay information includes a $1,000 signing bonus and $500 referral opportunities. A comprehensive compensation package is available, including overtime pay.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing machine malfunctions to maintain optimal production levels.
  • Locating and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems in a timely manner.
  • Completing projects as directed, including machine moves, modifications, installations, and material handling.
  • Assisting in the training of other maintenance personnel and production associates.

You will also be expected to ensure that job functions maintain or improve product quality and complete work orders satisfactorily and in a timely manner.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or GED from an accredited school.
  • Advanced education in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with electrical systems from 24V DC to 480V AC.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints.
Work Environment

This is a 12-hour 3rd Shift position that rotates between Week 1 and Week 2. Week 1: Mon/Tues/Sat/Sun and Week 2: Wed/Thurs/Fri. Every other weekend is OFF. Shift hours are 7pm - 7am. You must be able to work in a manufacturing setting, standing, bending, stooping, lifting, pulling, pushing are required.

Hilift/Forklift operation experience and ability to obtain license are desired. Quality Management System and Environmental Systems Training will be provided on-the-job or classroom style.
