Overview

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000, depending on experience.


Job Responsibilities
  • Triage pets upon arrival at the clinic, assessing their medical condition.
  • Conduct thorough interviews with pet owners to gather detailed patient histories.
  • Accurately take vital signs, collect blood samples, and administer medications as prescribed by veterinarians.
  • Support surgeons during procedures and closely monitor patients after surgery to ensure smooth recovery.
  • Carefully provide instructions for at-home medication administration to clients.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date patient records.

Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a comparable role is mandatory.
  • Sound knowledge of animal behavior, handling, and welfare.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environments.
  • Prior experience with anesthesia monitoring is highly valued.
  • A genuine passion for animal care and empathy towards pets.
