Position Overview:
Under the supervision of the Director, this role entails overseeing the activities of technologists and students within the department, ensuring adherence to professional standards and performance metrics. The candidate will be expected to complete established competencies during the designated introductory period and undertake additional related responsibilities as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage workflow within the department and coordinate with other hospital areas.
2. Provide professional and technical guidance while collaborating with medical staff as needed.
3. Ensure the availability and proper functioning of supplies and equipment.
4. Make recommendations regarding staffing decisions, including hiring, termination, and disciplinary actions.
5. Supervise Imaging students and assess their performance.

Educational Requirements:
Required: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program.
Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree.

Experience Requirements:
Required: Minimum of 3 years of MRI experience.
Preferred: At least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.

Certifications:
Required: ARRT (R) certification and documented MRI training/experience; must obtain MRI Registry within one year of hire; BLS certification; state license if applicable.
