About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Nurse Coordinator (RN) Cardiac Cath Lab to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and coordination of all functions in the Cardiac Cath Lab Department.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critical care nursing with experience in a cardiac cath lab setting. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, monitoring and evaluating nursing care, and serving as a resource person for staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient-centered care and coordinate all functions in the Cardiac Cath Lab Department
  • Monitor and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures
  • Serve as a resource person for staff and model a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • An Associate Degree in Nursing is required; BSN is highly preferred
  • A current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
  • ACLS and PALS certifications are also required
  • At least 2 years of Critical Care Nursing experience in Critical Care, ICU, ER, or Acute Inpatient setting; charge experience is highly preferred
