Estimator Job Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team at JLS Environmental Services, Inc. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of expertise in estimating construction projects from start to finish.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing estimates for commercial and residential projects, including preparing accurate quantity takeoffs, materials pricing, and coordinating subcontract solicitations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, construction management, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage estimates for commercial and residential projects
  • Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing
  • Coordinate subcontract solicitations and job walks
  • Determine labor and construction equipment costs
  • Meet and maintain proposal and bid schedules

Estimated Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in estimating construction projects
  • Strong conceptual estimating skills and ability to lead a lump sum bid pursuit
  • Knowledge of local subcontractor community and all trades
  • Experience with design build projects and 5-D estimating
