Key Responsibilities- Inventory and maintain necessary food and supplies to ensure efficient operation of the Food Service Department.
- Store food and supplies in correct containers and in proper storage areas according to department guidelines.
- Maintain records and logs documenting storage temperatures of perishable food items.
- Date, label, and rotate stock according to procedures.
- Order food and supplies based on product specification.
- Secure designated areas of potential theft, dangerous chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
- Transport food and supplies in appropriate containers or vehicles.
- Follow HACCP guidelines when receiving and distributing food supplies.
- Report needed maintenance or repairs of equipment.
- Complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports as outlined in corporate policies and procedures.
