Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team at Physician Empire. As a member of our Orthopedic Department, you will have the opportunity to work with a collegial group of 20 physicians, including orthopedists and podiatrists.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care as an Orthopedic Surgeon, with a focus on Sports Medicine.
- Collaborate with our Sports Medicine Division, which includes a fellowship-trained Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgeon and a fellowship-trained Sports Medicine Family Medicine physician.
- Work with our team of advanced practice providers, including 13 licensed athletic trainers, to expand access to our department for direct surgical cases.
- Participate in the care of University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Athletics Program as a Team Physician.
- Contribute to the growth and development of our Rehabilitation Services department, including PT, OT, Sports PT, and Sports Performance Enhancement Services.
- Be part of a team that is recognized repeatedly by U.S. News & World Report as a top performer in Wisconsin.
- Work in a Level II Trauma Center environment.
- Enjoy a call schedule of 1:11, with day call (7am-3pm) taken by the Orthopedic Trauma Service.
- Have access to office space attached to the hospital, with a common EHR and PACS across the health system.
Requirements
- Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Experience in Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Surgery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
