About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Machinery Engineering Manager to join our team at Air Products. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing machinery systems for our operating plants in North America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct supervision of a team of Machinery Engineers and Specialists
  • Administer EH&S compliance to ensure the protection of personnel, the community, and the environment
  • Effectively coordinate engineering resources while driving consistency within the organization
  • Initiate and implement reliability and/or efficiency improvement initiatives and best practices across fleet
  • Talent development to meet Operations business needs over the long term
  • Drive collaboration and cooperation between the Machinery teams in Operations, Engineering, and Global Operations Excellence
  • Maintain strong and effective working relationships with counterparts in Asia and EMEA
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering
  • 15+ years of experience in machinery design, application, engineering, operation, and maintenance
  • 10+ years managing engineering teams
  • Knowledge of Air Products Product Lines is beneficial
  • Well-versed in machinery vibration diagnostics skills and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong organizational, planning, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Well-versed in complex Root Cause Analysis
  • A proven influential leader
