Job Title: CT Technologist

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in San Francisco, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced CT Technologist to perform routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.

Responsibilities:
  • Competently perform CT procedures to produce accurate and high-quality images.
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures.
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety.
  • May be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or helping to orient other staff to the department.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist (from the state where work is being performed).
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
  • RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 days of hire if required at the affiliate.
  • 5 years of recent relevant experience.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
  • General knowledge of diagnostic computerized tomography principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
  • Ability to perform routine CT examinations and basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods.

This role is a full-time day shift opportunity with a salary range of $66.01 to $82.50 per hour.

The salary range may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location.

Compensation takes into account several factors, including a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, and certifications, department equity, training, and organizational needs.
