ROLE OVERVIEW:


Under the direct oversight of the Supervisor, the Technologist is responsible for delivering Radiologic services to patients by conducting Cat Scan examinations aimed at diagnosis and treatment, while ensuring the production of high-quality images for Radiologist interpretation.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Graduate of a two-year A.M.A. accredited Radiologic Technology program.

• A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification required.

• New graduates must pass CT boards within one year of hire.

• Availability to rotate shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.

• Formal education in cross-sectional anatomy is preferred.

• CPR Certification is mandatory.

• Basic computer skills are advantageous.

• Completion of one hour of annual stroke education is required.

LICENSURE AND CONTINUING EDUCATION:
• A.R.R.T. Certifications are necessary.

• Maintenance of 24 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) every two years is required.

STROKE EDUCATION:
• One hour of stroke education annually is mandatory.
