About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Martial Arts Instructor to join our team at the YMCA of Snohomish County. As a key member of our fitness team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality martial arts classes to our diverse membership base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead group martial arts classes, providing a safe and engaging environment for participants
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans, incorporating a range of techniques and exercises
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to participant needs and concerns
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, ensuring our programs remain relevant and effective
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote our programs and services, driving membership growth and retention
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals and groups of diverse backgrounds and abilities
  • Certification or education in martial arts or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with participants and colleagues
  • Fluency in a second language is desirable
