Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to fill a Labor and Delivery position in Bennington, Vermont.

Job Description

As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to women and newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages of childbirth. This includes coaching women throughout the birthing process, monitoring the mother's and baby's vitals, administering medication, and managing potential complications that may arise. You may also be called upon to assist in caesarian sections. You will provide education and guidance to new mothers in regard to recovery and caring for their infants.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to women and newborns in the Labor and Delivery unit
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs and medication administration
  • Assist with caesarian sections and other surgical procedures as needed
  • Provide education and guidance to new mothers on postpartum care and infant care
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in Labor and Delivery
  • Active RN license
