Phlebotomy Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II to join our team at ICONMA. As a Phlebotomist II, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Collect blood samples from patients using a variety of techniques, including venipuncture and capillary collection.
- Prepare blood samples for laboratory testing, including labeling and packaging.
- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of blood samples, while maintaining a safe and professional environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and high-quality patient care.
- Meet productivity and quality standards, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred; three years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Minimum two years of experience in a patient service center environment preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while maintaining a high level of productivity and quality.
