We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technician PRN to join our team at Ricardo Lemus MD. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality ultrasound services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule and prepare patients for ultrasonic diagnostic procedures, explaining the process and what to expect.
- Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures, including positioning patients and selecting the appropriate transducer.
- Manage processing and documentation, including developing film, making hard copy images, documenting tests, and ensuring department records, reports, and files are accurate.
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and notify management of any faulty equipment.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer.
- Certified in diagnostic ultrasound in accordance with state regulations.
- Current ARRT or ARDMS license (ARDMS is required in Texas).
