Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior I&C Engineer, your role will encompass the following responsibilities:

1. Develop and review instrumentation and control engineering documentation, including datasheets, cable schedules, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, location plans, loop diagrams, system architecture drawings, I/O lists, alarm lists, control narratives, and requisitioning documentation.
2. Conduct Safety Integrity Level (SIL) verification and engage in Hazard and Operability (HAZOP), Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA), and Alarm Rationalization studies.
3. Design switchgear, panel schedules, and motor schematics.
4. Provide technical mentorship and leadership to junior engineers and design team members.
5. Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure alignment of I&C design with project specifications and standards.
6. Participate in project meetings and reviews to address all I&C aspects adequately.
7. Work with other disciplines to deliver integrated and efficient design solutions.
8. Offer support during construction, commissioning, and start-up phases.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Senior I&C Engineer position should possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. At least 7 years of experience in I&C Engineering, particularly within the Oil & Gas sector.
3. Extensive experience in developing and reviewing I&C engineering documentation such as datasheets, cable schedules, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, location plans, loop diagrams, system architecture drawings, I/O lists, alarm lists, control narratives, and requisitioning documentation.
4. Familiarity with SIL verification, HAZOP, LOPA, Alarm Rationalization, 480VAC switchgear design, panel schedules, and motor schematics.
5. Strong grasp of control systems and their applications in the engineering field.
6. Excellent leadership and mentoring capabilities, with a talent for guiding and inspiring a team.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
8. Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a knack for critical thinking and innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
9. Proficiency in various engineering software applications.
10. Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred but not mandatory.
