Lead Mammography Technologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Mammography Technologist to join our team at the University of Washington Medical Center - Northwest. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing direction to department staff, coordinating departmental operations, and preparing patients for diagnostic exams and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direction and guidance to department staff to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Coordinate departmental activities to optimize workflow and customer service
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic exams and procedures, including mammography and other imaging modalities
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure optimal performance
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training program in an AMA-approved school
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Mammography (ARRT)(M)
  • Two or more years of experience in applicable modality
  • Certification by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist or equivalent education/experience
