We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team as a Telemetry Specialist. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Job Responsibilities- Provide Basic Bedside Care: Administer medications, perform vital signs, and provide wound care as needed.
- Monitor and Adjust Specialized Equipment: Use telemetry machines to monitor patients' heart rates, blood pressures, and other vital signs, and adjust equipment as needed to ensure optimal patient care.
- Identify and Respond to Irregular Readings: Recognize and respond to abnormal telemetry readings, and notify the medical team as needed.
- Initiate Corrective Action: Take immediate action to address any adverse symptomatology or changes in patient condition.
- Experience: 1-2 years of recent acute care experience in Telemetry.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. Ability to lift 20 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Vision Requirements: Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
