At Nothing Bundt Cakes, the Froster plays a vital role in enhancing our cakes, ensuring every creation is a delightful experience for our customers. This position involves applying the final touches to our cakes, making them visually appealing and ready for celebration.
Position Types: Part-Time, Full-Time, and Seasonal opportunities are available. The ideal candidate should be dependable, enjoy handling multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Physical demands include the ability to bend, stand, and walk for extended periods, as well as the capability to work briefly in a commercial freezer. While prior pastry experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilizing pastry bags to frost cakes of various sizes while meeting brand and time standards.
- Measuring and mixing ingredients to create frosting.
- Reading, organizing, and fulfilling pre-paid cake order tickets.
- Employing the FIFO method to manage ingredient rotation and complete orders.
- Communicating effectively with team members to ensure timely completion of walk-in orders.
- Cleaning and maintaining pastry bags, utensils, and containers.
- Ensuring cleanliness and organization of the frosting area.
- Receiving and shelving incoming shipments.
- Adhering to food service health and safety regulations.
