CMM Technician

Apex Systems is seeking a skilled CMM Technician to join our team in the Norristown, PA area. As a CMM Technician, you will be responsible for mechanical/electrical fabrication of flight and ground support hardware, electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical assembly, and performing a variety of hands-on assembly tasks ranging from repetitive to nonrepetitive production assembly operations.

• Mechanical/electrical fabrication of flight and ground support hardware
• Electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical assembly
• Perform a variety of hands-on assembly tasks ranging from repetitive to nonrepetitive production assembly operations
• Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies under simulated conditions
• Work as a member of a team communicating technical issues to Manufacturing / Quality Engineers while supporting corrective actions

• Mechanical dexterity
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and parts lists
• Ability to pass JSTD-001 certification, SSC JSTD001MAP Solder OPER Certification, SSC NASA Polymerics Operator Certification, and SSC NASA Cable/Harness, Operator Certification
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

• Conformal Coating experience
• JSD-001 certification
• Able to read drawings and measurements
• Proficiencies with epoxies and structural adhesives
• Attention to detail
• Mechanically inclined
• Operate cutting tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, drills, and rotary tools with proficiency
• Basic technological and mathematical proficiency
• Solid computer skills, competent with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
• Preferred candidate should be proficient with VE-CAMS and SAP
