Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in a dynamic cardiac care environment. Candidates must possess current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications. Flexibility to float between units is essential. A minimum of 2 years of RN experience is required. Please note that requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application, with a maximum allowance of 7 days. Any requests exceeding this limit will result in automatic disqualification. Currently, we are unable to accommodate block scheduling requests.
Unit Details:
The assignment is within a 34-bed cardiac progressive care unit (PCU) and telemetry stroke overflow unit. Candidates should be comfortable managing cardiac drips and must demonstrate Epic experience on their resume within the past year. RTO must be provided at the time of submission. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:4, occasionally 1:5.
Health and Compliance Requirements:
- Personal Health Vaccine Documentation
- Two-Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) Test
- Negative Chest X-Ray
- Completion of Competency Exams including EKG and Telemetry
- Drug Screening and Criminal Background Check
- Education Verification
Contract Details:
This position is for a contract duration of 97 weeks, ensuring guaranteed hours throughout the assignment.
