Intensive Care Nurse Practitioner Specialist

This position plays a critical part in delivering exceptional patient care by working collaboratively with the Advance Practice Nurses Group. As a Critical Care/ICU Nurse Practitioner, you will focus on providing high-quality, patient-centered care to those requiring critical care and pulmonary services.
The successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills. You will work closely with directors, clinical managers, and other CPM/NP positions to bring innovative ideas from and to the bedside, establish clinical performance criteria, and contribute to quality improvement activities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care based on age-related needs
- Evaluate patient's physical and emotional status
- Participate in quality improvement activities and ensure compliance with regulatory/accreditation standards
- Establish clinical performance criteria and contribute to staff performance results through assessment of clinical abilities
- Develop pertinent advanced practice policy
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Nursing or higher with specialization in Acute Care or Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program
- Current California RN license and licensure as a Nurse Practitioner required
- BRN-approved certification as an ACNP/AGACNP or other equivalent body required
- BLS and ACLS certification required
