Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Glens Falls Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, including continuous assessment of patient hemodynamics and administration of conscious sedation.
  • Perform a range of technical procedures, including mixing and maintaining IV/IC infusion and bolus, and assisting physicians in interventional procedures.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and recovery.
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of current experience in a Cath Lab setting, with a strong background in cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Proficiency in interpreting EKG and hemodynamic pressure tracings.
  • Conscious sedation experience and IV experience are required.
  • Moderate sedation certification is highly preferred.
  • EP experience and STEMI call experience are also highly preferred.
