Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at OneStaff Medical. As a travel Ultrasound Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and locations, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary:

The Diagnostic Imaging Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for operating sonographic scanners to create images of patients' internal organs. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be able to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate sonographic scanners to create high-quality images of patients' internal organs
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ultrasound technology and its applications
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient exams and procedures
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. radiologic technology, medical imaging)
  • Current certification in ultrasound technology (e.g. RDMS, RDCS)
  • 2+ years of experience working as an ultrasound technologist in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
