About the Role

This is a senior position that requires a highly skilled attorney with 10+ years of experience in commercial finance transactions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in negotiating, structuring, and documenting secured and unsecured financing transactions for borrowers and lenders.

The role involves providing legal advice and support to lending, finance, and investment banking clients, including large multistate banks, small community banks, non-traditional lenders, servicers, and other financial services institutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiating and documenting complex commercial finance transactions
  • Providing legal advice on leveraged acquisition financings, asset-based financings, senior, mezzanine and subordinated debt transactions, cross-border financings, and opinion letters
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their financial goals and objectives
  • Developing and implementing effective strategies to meet client needs
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • At least 10 years of practicing commercial finance law
