We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) team at ChristianaCare. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient's vital signs, medication, and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit performance.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Delaware or compact state.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a critical care setting.
- BSN degree or commitment to obtaining within three years of hire.
- BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS certification preferred.
