Who are UPS Long Haul Truck Operators?

They are integral members of a robust national team, playing a crucial role in our logistics operations. Known as Feeder Operators, they transport freight from one UPS facility to another or to a client along a predetermined route, returning to their starting point after each shift. This means that after operating our meticulously maintained vehicles, Long Haul Truck Operators are home at the end of their workday.

What does it take to ensure packages are delivered efficiently across the nation and beyond?
  • Long Haul Truck Operators may work during the day, night, and/or weekends
  • Possession of a valid CDL (commercial driver's license) in the state of residence
    • Doubles/Triples endorsement may be required based on location
  • Successful completion of the DOT physical examination
  • Dependability, accountability, and a passion for driving
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Long Haul Truck Operators are expected to adhere to UPS appearance standards and wear the provided uniform.
