The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and adept at producing compliance documentation, while possessing relevant IT experience with a robust security emphasis. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily information security risk and compliance initiatives for various clients.
  • Establish a systematic approach to integrate cyber/information security with business goals while managing risks and adhering to compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with essential functional teams, including IT, HR, Marketing, Finance, and Legal, to identify and enforce security standards and best practices.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Deliver precise analysis and guidance to clients to ensure compliance solutions are effectively aligned with required controls.
  • Assist clients by completing security questionnaires from vendors, customers, and partners.
  • Conduct assessments of security controls across various environments, including host, network, cloud, and application-based systems.
  • Perform risk assessments and gap analyses based on compliance obligations and industry best practices.
  • Implement NIST and CMMC Levels 1-3 frameworks for both internal and external clients.
  • Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSP) and Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM) documentation.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to remediate controls protecting client information systems and data.
  • Oversee the creation of relevant policies, processes, and procedures in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Manage and deliver security awareness and education initiatives.
  • Monitor compliance and performance metrics, reporting findings effectively.
  • Evaluate and mitigate information security risks, supporting the development of solutions to minimize exposure.
  • Prepare for audits and engage with auditors to provide necessary evidence and support compliance processes.

Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • CISSP or CISM certification is highly preferred, along with other relevant industry certifications.
  • Over 10 years of experience in information/cyber security, risk, and compliance roles.
  • At least 7 years of technical experience with Microsoft solutions and products.
  • Technical certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, or Azure are strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with NIST standards and other compliance frameworks is advantageous.
